New Paltz Recreation Soccer

Fall 2020

Structure, Program & Training Schedule

Modified Structure
  • The Fall 2020 season will focus on individual skill work and drills.

  • Participation will be limited to youth who live in the local geographic area (e.g., community, city, town, or county) to reduce risk of spread from areas with higher levels of COVID-19.

  • Small Groups will be created and kept together (Cohorting) with dedicated trainers and volunteer coaches. Each group of players and coach will avoid mixing with other groups as much as possible.

  • Staggered arrival and drop-off times and locations by cohort (group) will be established to limit contact between groups as much as possible and allow time for cleaning and/or disinfecting.

  • Competitive games will not be scheduled this season to avoid large group gatherings. Only trainers and volunteer coaches will be allowed to enter the training area.

  • See Health and Safety Plan for further detailed information.
